Taint of Doubt

If you can't understand Love
If you can't understand Feelings
You'll never know
What makes a Man walk down the Road.
.....
If you can't understand heartache
If you can't soothe him
When he shakes
You'll  never touch upon
The softness that he'll only show in Love
.......
And though his past is dead and buried now
Still he hangs on to the future
with a "taint of doubt"
Like anyone who has ever dreamed upon,
And wished upon a
Falling Star.

And a man said,
Speak to us of Self Knowledge.

And he answered, saying:
Your hearts know in silence the secrets
of the days and the nights.

You would touch with your fingers
the naked body of your dreams.

And it is well you should.

But say not,
"I have found the truth,"
but rather,
"I have found a truth."

Say not,
"I have found the path of the soul,"
say rather,
"I have met the soul walking upon my path."

For the soul walks upon all paths.

And since you are a breath in
God's Sphere,
and a leaf in God's forest,
you too should
rest in reason and move in passion
